Fair Manufacturing Inc. is located in southeastern South Dakota in a rural community within sixty miles of Sioux Falls, SD.
The company was started in the 1960’s by local inventor and manufacturer Walter Fair. In 1976, the company was incorporated. Currently Fair Manufacturing is a privately held South Dakota corporation.
Prototyping of the Fair Snocrete® Snowblower took place during the 1960’s and the agricultural PTO powered product became the backbone of the company.
In the early 1970’s, Fair introduced the SuperHaul Auxiliary Snow Body Insert for increased capacities while hauling snow and other light-weight materials. As demand grew for larger more powerful snowblowers, Fair introduced the self-contained industrial version of the Snocrete® Snowblower in the mid-1970’s.
Recognizing the need for smaller self-contained units, the Snocrete® small industrial units were introduced in 1980. In the late 1990’s with improved technological advance, Fair patented its exclusive side-draft compensator.
Today as one of North America’s leading Snowblower manufacturers, Fair Mfg.
